Plainsight Compliance is a software consulting and compliance firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. We do one thing: help businesses find and fix website accessibility barriers before those barriers become customer complaints, demand letters, or lawsuits.
The name is our method. Accessibility failures aren’t hidden — they sit in plain sight on the pages your customers use every day, invisible only to teams who have never tried to buy something from their own site with a keyboard or a screen reader. We look at your website the way a blind customer, a motor-impaired customer, and a plaintiff’s expert witness will: directly, by hand, with the same assistive technology they use.
We publish our pricing, we publish a real sample audit, and we hold our own website to the same standard we audit against — its current score is on our accessibility statement.

Prevention beats settlement
Every dollar spent fixing a barrier before a complaint is worth many spent after one. Compliance is cheaper, calmer, and better for customers when it’s preventative.
Humans verify everything
Tools triage; people verify. No finding goes in a Plainsight report unless a person has reproduced it with real assistive technology.

The curb cut was built for wheelchairs and ended up helping everyone with a stroller, a suitcase, or a delivery cart. Accessible websites work the same way — clearer, faster, easier for every customer.

We work with businesses nationwide, but we’re built in Kansas City — a practical town where a handshake still means something and nobody is impressed by jargon.
