Plainsight Compliance is a software consulting and compliance firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. We are not a law firm, we do not practice law, and nothing we publish or deliver — including audits, reports, scores, and remediation plans — constitutes legal advice. Our work is a technical assessment of conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). For advice about your legal obligations or any claim against you, consult a licensed attorney; we are glad to work alongside your counsel.

No guarantee of outcomes

Conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA substantially reduces both real-world barriers and litigation exposure, but no vendor can truthfully guarantee that a website will never receive a complaint or lawsuit. We do not sell certificates of immunity, and we encourage skepticism toward anyone who does.

Accessibility statement

We hold this website to the standard we audit against: WCAG 2.1 AA. Our own pages are tested with the same preliminary sweep we run for clients, plus manual keyboard and screen-reader review, and our current self-assessment score is published here after every significant change.

This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. When you request an assessment, we use the information you provide only to perform and deliver the assessment and to correspond with you about it. We do not sell or share contact information. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch our systems.

Outreach practices

If we contact your business about a preliminary observation, that message will identify who we are, include a physical mailing address and a working unsubscribe mechanism, and make no threat of litigation — we are a consulting firm, not a claimant. One request is honored permanently.
